    Can you manually switch to the IGP?

    It sort of feels like the screen connection and the external display output are wired directly to the discrete GPU instead of the laptop usual of to the IGP and then having the frame passed from the discrete card to the IGP for sending to the display.

    Maybe it was a result of using a full fat GPU instead of a Max Q version but still seems an odd choice.
