The most interesting thing I'm seeing here is the perforations in the metal for venting are not just the standard circles or hexagons. I immediately recognized the patterns from my searches in the past, before cases had mesh fronts, for materials I could use for modding cases to allow more air flow. You can buy sheet metal with these kinds of patterns places like this (or most larger hardware stores):
