My older G-master ( GB2788HS ) screen come on of itself, mind you when the computer are off, and it is quite annoying.

Don't buy this monitor before reading this thread on Overclockers:

TLDR: far too many people have had problems. Not just the ones you point out. Quality control is significantly lacking.

Yes there are issues but Im more than happy with mine, even though I do need to switch it off/on now and again. And yes I am one of the ones who posted on that thread. There are clearly some issues but if you are lucky enough to get a good one its a fantastic bang/buck ratio.

I'm in that thread as well. Currently the poll shows a 30% issue rate. But most of those are clear physical damage to the screen at some point.
At this price point it's blooming marvellous.

    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

There is a curved version of this monitor.
    Would love a comparison.

Re: iiyama G-Master GB3461WQSU Red Eagle

Its a shame to see that there are faults with this monitor- I have just bought the much cheaper Black Hawk G-Master G2530HSU and been running it for a couple of weeks now. The quality of this smaller, lower res monitor has been great, straight out of the box.

Be interested to see if Iiyama gets to grips with the issues with the Red Eagle.

Also comparing this to a VA monitor of a different resolution isn't appropriate. A comparison with one of the other 3440x1440 IPS screens like the LG 34GN850 (£950) or the ASUS PG349Q (£1,000) would be a fairer comparison, and show the true value at £400.
