Any comparison shots of this against its stablemates Meshify 2 and Meshify 2 XL?

Afraid not, but here's a shot of Meshify 2 Compact next to Define 7, which is effectively the same size as Meshify 2:

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

I currently have a Meshify-C (love it) and cool to see an update.

A few things that struck me as questionable:
    - Rear fan grill looks pretty restrictive
    - Rear fan still only a 120mm - would have been nice to squeeze in a 140mm (looks like there's space)
    - Don't like the feet at all, very chonky

Other than that, a cracking case!

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

I purchased a Meshify 2 some a couple of months ago. Didn't need the size, it just seemed more modern than the Meshify C. Sods law that a Meshify 2 Compact comes along, looks like a good all-rounder.

Hard to tell from the images, but much of the time, the big feet allow ground clearance which make airflow up through the floor of the case viable and improve thermals. Given the compactness of this case I doubt you could mount a fan underneath, but that's the idea..

    Good enough, thanks!

Thought it looked quite tall, they've only slimmed it down in width and possibly a tiny bit off the depth.

I really like the recent Fractal cases. They've nailed the design.

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

This seems like a nice evolution; it's got some good features, like easy to remove dust filters all around. The Fractal cases from a few years back used to be more awkward in that regard (my Define S has the bottom filter removed from the rear).

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

My next case will be a Fractal one, I'm going to iTX board and will have a 3060Ti/3080(Hoping) in there, not sure if it will live on the desk or under like the existing setup does, not bothered about windows as it'll be on my left and I'm pretty sure the missus won't want to look at the insides of my PC as she sits next to me..

Would be interesting to see the Fractal Meshify compared to the new Silent Base 802

    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

Maximum CPU cooler height extends to 169mm so it seems like a big cooler such as the NH-D15 can fit, even with some fans moved up. Thank you for the review.

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

I was never a huge fan of the Meshify C like most were but this time I think Fractal have nailed it. Very tempted to replace my H500 with one...

Re: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

Finally a decent compact case with great airflow.

I had the original Meshify C which was one of the most compact ATX cases you could buy. This looks like it's going to be a great successors.
