    Re: Corsair RM850x PSU (2021)

I've one of these in 750W after my old PSU was getting to something like 9 years old (I forget the exact number but it's still going in someone else's system) and reliability was essential along with needing more chooch for the Vega64. PSUs aren't sexy, but a cheap one is gambling a hell of a lot on a primary system or an expensive build. Having seen a few reviews of these and even Anandtech raving about them, if you see one on offer, and you're on a potentially weak PSU, they're worth getting. The cables are a little bulky with the caps in but that's only a problem if you're in a SFF or have some weird cable routing to contend with. Myself, I barely noticed but my case is the size of a bus.
