Why AMD doesn't make similar showcase systems like Intel does?
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.

Sure did but in these days of configurable TDP's etc. they stopped doing it.
This looks ok - but at 65w versus most AMD systems at 35-45 watts they are a fair bit off efficiency wise
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

Why wouldn't they take the opportunity to showcase their DG2 at the same time?

Re: Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H)

Glad to see Inhel closing the chasm. Whilst laptops like this aren't a great indicator of what other integrators will spew forth, it's worthwhile.

I want to see another couple of generations of AMD dominance in laptops in the hope it'll break a few manufacturers away from Intel muscle and bring us into an era where you can choose the laptop which suits your needs, not what is available due to marketing pressures.

Hot, noisy laptop that is slower than the previous generation and nowhere near as efficient as AMD's chips. ouch
