With high price and high voltage - ouch!Originally Posted by hexus
Wouldn't the obvious one to compare them with be 3600 CL16? I have 2 sets of F4-3600C16D-16GTZ in mine and I'm willing to bet they out perform 3200 at CL14 or CL16, and they cost a fraction of the RRP for these 3600CL14 sets.
That said, the difference in all but mem specific benchmarks appears to be negligible anyway. Where does latency matter? Sound recording I guess. Maybe some repetitive editing tasks like batch photo processing? I'm not sure those gaming margins are worth the cost for the average person.
"Classy looks" oh man, this is about as classy as the Louis Vuitton ufo speaker https://www.whathifi.com/news/louis-vuitton-has-built-a-dollar3000-light-up-speaker-that-looks-like-a-ufo

$105 got me 2x8GB sticks of the original Trident Z RGB RAM @3,600MHz. Yes the timings are significantly worse at CL18 but what is effectively double the price for CL14 and a fancy heatspreader just doesn't seem reasonable. Guess that's the point, but this really doesn't make sense unless money is no object, the benchmarks basically prove that.
