Today, 18th January 2006, sees the launch of NVIDIA's first 90nm desktop graphics processor, codenamed G72, and its first desktop SKU.

The company's move to 90nm has been well discussed in the online technology press, especially since ATI have successfully made the transition already and are shipping 90nm desktop parts, produced by TSMC who NVIDIA use for G72, in reasonable and sustained quantity.
