Our Quake 4 netdemo runs fast enough on all the cards. Again, the ASUS GeForce 8800 GTX is outpaced by the older GeForce 7950 GX2 and almost caught by the venerable GeForce 7900 GTX.
Pretty sure thats supposed to be GTS? As the GTX isnt outpaced by the 7950GX2.

I guess I'm going to be happy with my X1900 XT 512Mb for a while yet. Geforce 8800s are nice, and R600 is likely going to be too, but DX10 wont be critically needed for another year or two.

I dont game above 1280x1024(19" iiyama CRT), and I aint buying a TFT til they stop doing 16.2 million colours, bad responses and brightness, and crap scaling with non-native res at prices under £200. 24 bit true colour or bust! I aint downgrading my monitor!

And I aint paying £200-500 for a good TFT that only just replaces my CRT on quality! :/ (wouldnt that money be nicely invested on a DX10 card )

Still... I wouldnt be complaining with the ample speed buffer against upgrading a DX10 card would give at 1280x1024
