Was wondering whether anyone was interesting in going to the 25TH anniversary Shoreham airshow:

Its a much larger one than the Eastbourne one we went to and is only £18 to £22 for a ticket.

Me and Bagnaj97 are going down for the day. It will be an early start,as the air display starts at 10.45AM but at least parking is free.

I have new toys to point at the flying machines - Nikon D3300 and Tamron SP AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 Di VC USD. I think Tamron were actively trying to get as many letters into that name as possible!
Hopefully I'll get some pics I'm happy with unlike at Eastbourne, but I have a strong suspicion the problems don't lie with the equipment...

Where to meet and what time?

I'm looking to get there for around 9:30. That allows me enough time for traffic or, if it's an easy run, time to have a look at some of the stalls etc before the planes.

As for where to meet, I have no idea what will be there other than the entrance! I've still got your mobile number from Eastbourne so I can give you a ring when I get there.

Hey Bagnaj, sorry I missed your call on Saturday, I left my phone at the office and have just seen it.

I couldn't make it to this show, I was feeling a bit unwell over the weekend, so sat at home playing Elite Dangerous. Was it a good show? Get some decent pics?

Show was good, weather was dry at least, but overcast and dark for a lot of the day so not ideal for pics.

No way! Can't believe I missed this.. Often go to the Eastbourne airshow and with my father living not far from Shoreham (he lives in Rustington) it'd have been easy to get to. Can't wait for the pictures
