    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Delicious! Its good to find that the americans can make beer. Rich, hoppy and very very nice. Ps Sam Adams is also good beer. Budweiser peepee is not.

Just don't expect to get beer in the states with your passport. 'I'm sorry sir, but its not an american passport, so I don't think we can accept it.' the stupid american woman says to the beer starves, 22 year old english student. Bah I always get sam adams when I can find it though. I love its bitterness and find it really refreshing.

If you ever get a chance to sample the seasonal Octoberfest by Sam Adams you will be in for a treat. I lived in Boston (home of Sam Adams) for a couple of years and drank Sam all the time. Some Waitrose stores sell it but I can't find any at the moment.

Anyone know where to get some for a decent price?

    Mmmmmm, Octoberfest nice.

Try Heather Ale - Fraoch, and Arran Blonde, both at Sainsburys.

Sam Adams was my staple when in Houston a couple of years back. It was the default bottle in the hotel bar (Hyatt). I'll have a look out for the Sierra Nevada when i'm across in the summer.

Regular bottled favourite - I'm allowed a couple by the other half to make their way into the weekly Morrisons dash.

Seem to have noticed it in quite a few local supermarkets recently. Got a few left in my fridge for now though

Weird I never had any problems with mine (and I got IDed all the time despite being 26 at the time).
