    Chocolate Fondue with brioche

    Serves 4-6
    Prep time: 10 mins
    Cooking Time: 20mins

    Ingredients
    200g dark chocolate
    40g unsalted butter
    1/4 pint double cream
    3 tbsp brandy
    1 brioche loaf
selection of fruits ( e.g. baby bananas, pineapple chunks, grapes, pear slices, big strawberries)

    Method

Cut the brioche into cubes and allow to dry slightly.

Place the chocolate, butter and cream in a bowl over a pan of simmering water and gently heat until melted.

Meanwhile, prepare the fruits and arrange on a platter with the brioche.

Remove fondue from the heat and stir in the brandy.

Transfer to a fondue dish or warm pot and serve with fruits and bread for dipping.
