i may well try these, as both are decent, but combined could be amazin.
hope you dont mind if i post one of my banana-related desert recipes?
    Stuff needed:
Banana - ones that are just ripe work good
    Cadburys Flake choccy Bar
    Sharp pointy knife
    Baking Foil
    A good sense of humour

    How to do it:
Leave the banana in its skin and cut a slit about 1/2way into the banana and along the most of its length down the middle. take the flake bar and push it inside the banana, eating all the bits that drop out, cos it just makes you feel good. wrap the chocolate-impregnated banana in the foil and stick it in the oven/BBQ(even better!), straight on the rack. cook it on err..,say.., Gas mark 8 for about 10 mins, or until your kitchen stinks of chocolate. take em out carefull and unwrap. stick em on a plate, still in the skin and serve with some proper posh creamy vanilla ice-cream.
    sooo nice
hope you understood my late-nite ramblings, cos i certainly don't...lol

i find that the best way to do bananas is to take em out the skins, put em individually in tinfoil, with some grated dark chocolate, not that borneville crap, proper dark continental chocolate, (you can use bourneville, but it isnt as nice), and a lashing (3 or 4 tablespoons) of white rum or whiskey (nice stuff, not JD's or teachers), now wrap em up, and wang em in a very hot grill, or bbq, we have a chimineer here which is perfect. the trick is to have the heat extremely hot for 2 reasons, 1 so the chololate doesnt dry out and go manky, and 2 so the banana doesnt turn to mush, only needs about a miniute if your grill is hot enough, sometimes less,

take out/off put on plate still in tin foil, and server with cream, i find singe cream is best. ait one for people watching the calary intake
