Recipe
1. Slit a banana lengthways through one part of the skin and the edible part of the banana, like a kind of sandwich. Older bananas which are a little mushy work fine. I imagine green bananas may not work so great.
2. Fill the slit with the chocolate of your choice. I find cooking chocolate is not great due to it not really being sweet enough.
3. Wrap the bad boy tightly in tin foil.
3. Cook in a preheated oven; about 160C should do it for about 5-10 minutes until the banana and chocolate congeal into a sloppy mess.
4. Wait for the bananas to cool a bit before serving; they are a serious health hazard hot.
5. Serve possibly with vanilla ice cream. They are great on their own.
Realised the other day if you use clingfilm they can be done in the microwave. One banana on fulll power for 1.5-2 minutes pretty much does the job.
