    I've been watching this. My Uncle-in-law is Italian from just North of Rome. The series is spot on.
    According to him though, you wouldn't want to live there. Like the hosts he left as a young man to make his fortune, as the stuff all chance there.

    I just saw the first episode (I saw part two before) and it was devoted to finding out if Italian women still cook.

    The cookery and food school for the drug addicts was inspiring... Genaro struggled to talk the whole way throough that section.

    Watching Antonio dating the young lass was funny and,... kind too.

    Good series... worthy
