ritey then, i recon some students should share there cooking-for-no-cash recipes. here's mine :
Pasta n Balls
all is bought from Asda Smartprice range, prices are approximate due to memory loss)
- big bag of smartprice pasta twists 35p a huuuge bag
- bolognese sauce - 30p a big jar
- tin of meatballs in tomato sauce - 16p
- garlic paste - stolen from housemate, no idea of price
- Molten Lava chilli sauce - stolen from braver housemate
boil up a bowlfull of pasta in some water. pre-heat with kettle and make a cup of tea at same time.
drain the pasta in a coulinder, then put back in the pan, along with about a 1/4 of the jar of bolognese sauce and the whole tin of meatballs in their sauce.
stick in 1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste and a decent splash of chilli sauce (adjust amount to no. of dead tastebuds required)
heat it all up over a medium heat until it tastes hot, whilst drinking tea. keep stirring so it doesn't stick.
serve in a bowl with some bread (smartprice thick-cut, 20p a loaf) and a glass of cheap pop.
