Smile Sometimes.. the simplest things are the best

Bloke came round this morning and fixed our oven.. the thermostat had popped, with the result that the thing never got over 120 C.... now it's fixed and I've just finished my first hot food in 3 weeks that hasn't been nuked or done on the hob Steak n Kidney pie, with peas blummin marvellous...

Steak diced up, kidneys too, but not too small. Stew them all in a nice gravy, then bung in a pie and bake in the oven.
I'll knock up a rexipe for you tomoz, when I'm er.. back from Ravenhome...

After several nights of fancy Indian food and the like, I decided to go back to basics and had egg, chips and beans, all swirled together. And you know what? Best meal of the week!
