Currants and lots of sugar is my favourite....apart from when I once had them with a lovely butterscotch sauce. That was about 14 years ago and my mouth still waters at the thought, I should really find the recipe.

Tomorrow iirc.

I just like a splash of lemon juice & a sprinkle of sugar. Maybe a pinch of allspice in the batter. But the kids'll want more. Prolly ice cream & grated chocolate, or something similar.

chocolate sauce, chopped up banana (or other desired chopped fruit) slather it on, wrap it up, more sauce, get yer laughing gear around that

I also am feeling a bit on the sicky side... but... pancake day only comes once a year.

Bit late but never mind.

couple of oranges.
Sugar
Some ginger wine

Juice oranges into suitable saucepan, add a slug of ginger wine and some sugar, stick in a bit of zest and reduce.

Cook pancakes then drizzle with sauce from pan.

I don't like pancakes, but was most pleased with my creations for the girls - assorted pancakes using banana, chocolate, raspberries and ice cream.
My hand slipped down the handle of the pan and I gripped the metal bit joining the handle, have a lovely blister now on inside of knuckes
