I think "hunting" lambs is probably a bit of an overstatement

Well, we are all on our own separate desert islands, so unless there's an old deserted (fully stocked) butchers, we're gonna have to hunt!

but snedger hasn't been hunting lambs, he's been hunting lamb steaks, they are much harder to catch

Yeah, I don't really relish all that abattoiring.
Funny enough, hunting lamb steaks yesterday was not easy. The butchers said there wasn't much call for them and only the second supermarket had them in stock.

Then I messed it all up by putting too much water in the grillpan which washed off all the spices from underneath! Meat was still good though.
