Hi, while trying to get into the bios I started a memory check then cancelled it - now my RAM meter sits around 30%. It's an ASUS M4A79XTD Mobo with Corsair memory.
Any suggestions/advice welcome.

30% use? That's normal....
I'm sure I was only reading about 5% before.!?
How much memory do you have and what OS are you using?
With 4GB RAM in Windows 7, it idles on around 20-30% RAM for me which is effectively around 800MB-1.2GB.
Same, 4GB in Windows 7. Must have been dreaming earlier!
I have 4gb win 7 and I'm on 31% atm
18% for me now
70% unused then - you could take out 2GB!
Seriously, it doesn't matter - some apps will use more RAM - thats what it is therefore. It is faster and more efficient to be using RAM than swapping in and out to disk. Windows will sort itself out, so unless ypou get near 100% use (possibly accompanied by near 100% CPU utilisation) which could indicate either a hung process or a memory leak, I wouldn't worry about it.
