RAM Configurations: 2Rx8, and manfactuers?

I have bid on Infineon Qimonda RAM with 2Rx8.

Basically will I see any difference in 1Rx8 to 2Rx8?
Also is Infineon and Qimonda any good?

At the moment I have mixed RAM, Crucial and Nanya (Good makes) but can't afford anything else. Some are high density, basically they are not matched so I wanted to get two pairs which match for dual channel configuration.

Will this be fine?

Yes That will be fine. It should run in Dual channel and should run faster

i have had bad luck with those. I purchased them from scan and did memcheck on it and got loads of errors.

Its best time to buy ram and I'd go for corsair vengenece. best bang for buck out there.
