Which RAM for a AMD Athlon™ II X3 455/ASRock 970 Extreme3 combo?

Hi all. American friend needs replacement RAM for his faulty (8GB) pair. The model of the broken pair: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Spec -
CPU: AMD Athlon™ II X3 455
MOBO: ASRock 970 Extreme3

He's not at all sure what will work best (machine is 99% for gaming use) and I, while I have some idea, trust you guys far more.

I'd use the Crucial advisor and choose something from their recommendations. You'd probably get a good price direct from them in the US.
