whs 2011 what memory configuration

Hi my motherboard has 4 slots whs 2011 has a 8Gb maximum memory, so question is what configuration for the memory.

1x8 / 2x4 / 4x2

two 4gb for me (best price/performance)... though do you need 8gb in a server? what will it be used for?

Hi it's main use at the moment is streaming 1080p to 3 rooms although this is on my old rig got the new board and CPU coming today so will be upgrading from v1 to Vail.

Also might have a tv tuner moved from the htpc into it

Just wondered re the power of the sticks of ram to the performance
