    Patriot Memory

Is it just me or this astonishingly cheap (if it comes back into stock)?

When it says only compatible with X79 that just means in quad channel mode right? It would run fine in dual channel on 1155/1150?

    Re: Patriot Memory

X79 chipset support only I would say is impossible. All memory modules if they would like to be sold, needs to comply to some if not all JEDEC standards, and simply because of that I am sure you could use this kit anywhere, even as 2 x 4GB kits in two different machines.

But to answer your question I am (pretty) sure that this kit would run just fine on a 1155/1150 platform. Wonder what are the timings at what voltage...
