G Skill 2x 8GB Trident DDR3 2400MHz on ROG Maximus VI Formula + i5 4670k set up

Hi all,

As the title says i'm planning on buying a "G Skill 2x 8GB Trident DDR3 2400MHz on ROG Maximus VI Formula + i5 4670k set up" but i'm not 100% sure that the ram will be okay for the motherboard and Haswell processor as the ram runs at 1.65v whereas intel usually go to 1.5-1.55v.

Can anyone share their wisdom on this please and/or recommend different ram that will be similar spec wise and red (if possible) in colour.

As a guess i'd say they will likely have a 1.5v profile running at 1600MHz, and you will need to give it 1.65v to get to 2400MHz.
