    HEC-550TD-PTE PSU and SLI

After some advice please? I purchased a PC a few years back (X-treme Titan I think it was called).

Anyway It's supposed to be SLI ready, I went to plug a second 8800GTS gpu in this morning only to find that the PSU supplied has one 6pin PCI Express cable.

Does this mean that I am going to have to get a replacement? If so any advice on a suitable one? The MoBo is a P5N32-E SLI

    You'll need one of these-

In regard to the whether the psu will handle 2*8800gts, I'm not too sure. I have the same psu and it very good, can easily handle most single cards. Also irc 2*8800gts consume about 400watts at load and will require sufficient amounts of amps on the 12v rail, so its touch and go. You can try first and if it does not work then just upgrade the psu.

Which 8800gts are they, the 512mb or 640mb version?

They are the 640 MB versions. I tried and am now getting a flickering neon like effect followed by system hangs when trying to play games so I think the PSU probably needs to be replaced. I have purchased a Corsair 750w so hopefully that should solve the problem.
