    Any H67 failures?

I have seen many posts about Asus P67 boards having a variety of issues.

Does anyone know if the H67 boards have the same issues?

I am thinking of going for either a i5-2500k or i7-2600k (if I can find some more cash) with a H67 board.

Also, any recommendations to which H67 board to go for?

    Thanks

    Darryl

Theres always BIOS problems for new motherboards they are usually fixed after a few BIOS releases. Just search for any problems that might occur for or if anyone has a similar board to recommend.

I wouldn't bother with a k-series processor on an H67 motherboard, as you won't be able to change the mutliplier anyway. Just go with the normal 2500 / 2600.

    Re: Any H67 failures?

I want the k-series as it has the HD3000 gpu where as the non k has the HD2000. Makes no sense why they did this as you can only (currently) use the gpu on a H67 and the overclocking on a P67, but as I am planning on using it for graphics and video, the quicksync and HD3000 seem the better choice. Plus, if the Z68 (whenever that comes along) allows you to overclock and use the GPU, then I can change just the mb.

    Hope that makes sense.

AFAIK,the H67 motherboards should be fine especially with the fact overclocking has been disabled.

Perhaps one of the Intel motherboards are worth getting, as they are meant to be quite stable and reliable according to other forum members on Hexus.

    Thanks.

Will have a look at the Intel ones.
