New Issue (As always) - Random Temperature Rise?

Hi all as you may have seen I started to venture into a little bit of case modding, I am awaiting certain parts but wondering why on earth my temperatures have suddenly risen.

    Originally IDLE
    CPU Temp - 25c - 30c idle
    GPU 23c - 30c
    Motherboard 20c - 24c
    HDD 23c - 24c

I have been messing about trying to figure out why the temperatures have risen.
The things I have done now:
Covered only visible generic metal with black matt vinyl including side panel behind MB tray
Tucked all unused cables behind HDD bay out of the way
    Installed new HD 7850?

    New temperatures IDLE
    CPU Temp - 32c - 35c
    GPU 30c - 34c
    Motherboard - 30c - 35c
    HDD 27c - 28c

Now they may not be scary figures but my cause for concern are the Southbridge, Northbridge and VRMs. The VRM heatsink is wobbly but isn't hot so I am worried it's come loose. But the southbridge and northbridge are in fact hot to touch, hot to cause slight concerns.

Wondering if anyone knows any reason why the motherboard temperatures have suddenly risen.

My CPU is overclocked but its been running cool and stable for ages now, this all happened after messing around with cables, reorganising everything and installing that new GPU. It can't be the vinyl because its cool to touch and apparently vinyl doesn't hold heat very well, it's not covering the MB components so that shouldn't cause any problems?

Also my front fans are now even more unobstructed. I even tried reflashing the BIOS and keeping the CPU speeds and voltages at stock, no difference, same temperatures. Ramping my fans RPMs up does little for temperatures also.

It's those motherboard components I am suspicious about.

    Thanks for any input, bizarre.

    Regards
    Mike

It's mostly the vinyl, it slows radiant heat absorption and nearly stops heat transfer from the air. Think of your case like a larger version of memory heat spreaders. The hotter vid card at the same time definitely did not help with this. There are a lot of high heat transfer paints at reasonable prices, vinyls and tapes are going to run higher.
