Asus P6T deluxe, USB 3.0 Windows 7

After purchasing a shiny new USB 3.0 stick to write my PhD thesis on (procrastinating by buying a USB stick that I don't need, never) I've found that the USB 3.0 port on my mobo doesn't seem to working. Looking in the device manager there is a missing driver for a USB controller, I assume this is the one for the USB 3.0 port, however I can't seem to find the driver anywhere online, and it can't automatically. Is this a windows 7 (64 bit) issue, or could the mobo be faulty?

PS. I checked in the bios that the USB 3 controller was activated.

Isn't the P6T a 1366 board, with only USB 2.0 ports ?

It's actually a P6X58D, and the drivers were easy to find and the USB 3.0 ports are now working.

Lesson learned here, when you buy a second hand PC, check the spec of the computer against what you've been quoted.

Haha! (Un)fortunately, spending the weekend returning the other halfs mums car back to Scotland, so spending tonight/saturday driving up to Scotland and Sunday taking the train back. But on Monday back to studying, after we've been to the grand designs exhibition at the Excel... but then...
