    Other that replacing?
You need some really good diagnostic equipment or experience and even after that you need all the knowledge to fix the issue.
I would say instead if a standalone mobo for replacing purposes try to buy the same model of the laptop with as many cosmetic issues as possible but fully functional. And replace the MoBo from that one.

Re: COMPAQ PRESARIO v3000 motherboard replacing

Hello everybody, my girlfriend has a Compaq Presario she was told that she needed to replace graphics card but it is attached to the motherboard. I'm a little new to this and I wanted to get some advice on what kind of motherboard/ graphics card I should look for. Or are there any other options I'm not aware of.

    thank you for your time
