I have the Gigabyte X370 gaming 5 and it says on the bios update screen that Ryzen 3000 etc are all supported but needs a EC FW Update to avoid memory errors. Maybe you need something similar?

    Re: X370 and Zen 2

I'd be slightly suspicious that the latest BIOS is from early June, although it's certainly possible they had baked in support for Ryzen 3000 that early.

Firstly, if you've got any BIOS settings on anything other than "auto" reset the BIOS to defaults. In fact, it might be worth resetting the BIOS to default values even if you think you haven't changed anything, just in case.

If that doesn't apply/doesn't work go back to basics, and strip out every non-essential piece of hardware - boot with GPU, boot drive and a single stick of RAM. In fact, you could leave out the boot drive - at least then you'd see if you got to the post screen....

Thanks, but I've already gone through the process of resting the bios. Though I should go through the process with just the essentials as you say. Regardless, Biostar support sucks.
