    Why would I want a motherboard described as glacial, let alone pay £2k for it? I want a speedy device not a slow one!

    We've been seeing motherboard prices get to new high's on each newer top end chipset (well, even the lower end has seen hikes), don't see it being otherwise unless they don't shift any of those?

    There are some pretty cheap AM4 boards out there for people doing budget builds, down at the £50 sort of level. Probably because you can't buy any cheap processors to put in them.
