frequent resychs sign that router is overheating?

    Hi

I have a Zyxel Prestige 660R one port ADSL router (freebie with ADSL connection) and have a problem in that it seems to resynch every couple of hours.
I read that this can be a sign that the router is overheating.
I switched it off one night (I usually leave it on 24/7) and then tried the next day and the situation improved but it has started happening again (either get a page cannot be displayed or message from the router that the connection test failed)

    Any ideas?

Could be on its way out, my netgear starting going like that not so long ago.

Can you stand it on end rather than lay it flat? The has a great effect on NetGear and other domestic ADSL routers..

Try blowing air from a fan at it - if it stays up without resyncing, heat is your problem.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
