Ok so I got this fantabulous new router in, but before I load a new fancy firmware on, I got to find one - that in basic - stuffs all traffic down a proxy.
I'm at Uni accommodation, which means the app Proxifier is what I mainly rely on to use apps that don't support proxies (Xfire, FTP apps, steam etc) and ones that use proxies really badly (Live Messenger, etc). I got this router in so I can use the net wirelessly around the flat on my laptop, but I'm wondering with the opensource community if there are any firmwares where I can input authentication-based proxy details in and it logs in as a device for me so all the traffic going through the thing works no hassle?
I've been googling for a long minute now to no luck Some pretty confusing stuff out there too, with iptables and such, so I thought I'll ask on here where there's bound to be far more experienced people
Thanks for the time!
