only connected locally wireless vista64 and belkin

im running vista64 with a belkin g pci wireless card.

every 24 hours the connection will say 'local connection only' meaning i am connected to the router (be speedtouch) but not the internet. i have to disconnect and then reconnect and then everything is fine. i have tried updating the drivers but once i did this manually it would drop and i had to disable and then reenable the belkin for it to connect. having vista detect the best drivers means i just need to disconnect and reconnect.

any idea what could be causing this?

Disable IPv6 - I had this issue with the beta (though as I'm not using wireless at the moment I can't verify it works in the RTM of x64, if it makes no difference you can always re-enable it.)

Re: only connected locally wireless vista64 and belkin

thanks guys, im using the be speedtouch route, not using the belkin utility just the vista 64 bit driver.

disabling ipv6 did not help, i still have the issue.
