    Belkin wireless router problem

    Hi all,

We have a dell laptop - inspiron 6400, belkin wireless 54g router.

Yesterday laptop screen was accidently pushed back [so laptop was completely horizontal/flat] and since then it cannot find the router. The laptop runs Windows Vista, when you try to use wizard and returns blanks.

I also have a pc which is connected via ethernet cable and works fine. It has access to the internet.

Any ideas what I can do..

the mini pci card that gives you wireless access has two ariels that run around most laptop screens perhaps pushing the screen so far back popped them off the card? If so just reattach them.

    Re: Belkin wireless router problem

I found out from the dell manual :$ that laptop has a button( fn-f2) which turn on the wireless aerials when pressed. It had switched them off somehow.

    But thanks for replying tm.
