For those who have done it how easy was it to switch to o2? Did you have to send your Be Box's back?
Its very easy to do... There is no down time between switching as well.
You will have to send the BeBox back, although its freepost...

I wanted mine switched over at 1am and waited 35 mins while watching a program but it got done
You can switch packages through the ticket system or over the phone too if you aren't satisfied with speeds your getting. Example: if you don't get that much over 8mb you can just switch to the value package and save yourself some money.

In answer to Madafwo' s question.

Yes you need to send the Be Box back if you dont they will charge you 100 quid. Be should send a prepaid jiffy bag to you.

the internet is very quick, but the router lets it down.
in my experience, when the router is working, the net is very quick
but when the router suddenly disconnects when it wants to, it fustrates me
it happens like once every day

    Re: BE There Internet

It's not the router that tends to be the issue it's the firmware or the person using it which tends to overload it but i'm glad not using the o2 firmware it's awful compared to be's.

My speedtouch was disconnecting me as well. I got rid of of it for a Linksys Am200 & WRT54GL and its been rock solid since. Loving Be's speed over Orange.

    Re: BE There Internet

I've had a few issues with the speedtouch freezing in the past myself, but not really frequent, but i've kept it since i find that the amount of customisation that can be done over the telnet interface is quite insane (at least compared to other units i've had in the past)!

The telnet functions are very impressive, but every real geek already uses these instead of the WebGUI
