    System Wide Proxy Settings

Due to my job I'm abroad alot but i will use proxies to acess sites like iplayer so i can carry on watching my fav programmes.

A problem i've noticed recently though is that more and more i'm using programs that don't have their own personal proxy settings (eg. Sky player + iplayer) and i can't use them abroad which is creating a nusiance.

Is there any way to enable system wide proxies (in Vista) so all internet traffic goes through that one proxy.

The only thing i found on the web that may be slightly useful is this but i'm wary of using it due to it messing with the registry. Plus i can't see where you type the proxy in.

as far as i can remember there isnt really as u can set in ie, a proxy and ie would use that proxy but sky player assuming its an app might just use system connection to net, if u need any proxy use proxy-list.org
