Angry MSN / Live / Windows Update Issues

I'm having serious problems accessing MSN Messenger and my email account through MSN. Accessing messenger is not is much of a problem but for some reason, my internet connection will not go to websites associated to MSN / Live / Windows update in anyway.

It gives the error code 0x8007efd through MSN Messenger and when going through IE to get to my emails, it simply says 'This page cannot be displayed'.

After checking around, this error code often relates to down time of the MSN servers. Unfortunatley, I know this is not the case. This has been going on for about a week now, and I can't really find any solutions.

I'm using a VM 20mb connection put through to Belkin Wireless G router. The router is wired to a single PC and is also used as a wireless access point. I've tried going through both the wired PC, and wirelessly through a PC and laptop, but I am still having no joy accessing the sites.

Anybody able to put me out of my misery?

aaaaannnnddd ... I seem to have found the problem. The router.

I've had this for a bout 3 years. Think I'll be heading to PC world tomorrow.

Have you tried rebooting the router?

Yeah I've put it back to factory settings, still to no avail. I don't understand why it's doing it. I can access every other site fine. Even log in to Yahoo and such.

I tried the VM modem wired straight to the computer, no router, and it worked fine.
