    Mobile Broadband

Having just moved and tiscali messing up on switching my phone line plus the rated speed shows up as 0.5 meg.
I am trying out 3 pay as you go moblie broadband which seems to be working quite well with downloads up to 2 meg at times.

Question on the side of the 3 usb stick there is a connection for an aerail does anybody know where such areils can be bought.

    thanks

if this works I might ditch tiscali all together.

    Re: Mobile Broadband

The connectors look to be standard types for that application, however it might be worth contacting Solwise to ask them.

Huawei are one of the bigger mfrs of 3G devices, so it is probable that the version with that connector is the one you require.

    Re: Mobile Broadband

Most of the MBB sticks are made by a company called Huwai, doesn't matter what network you are on.

But yeah, noticed this a while ago now, having he small antenna socket on the side. I would suggest taking a look at the manufacturer website and order direct from them if possible.

Its a pretty good thing in all honesty as it will boost your signal
