Why do all the routers seem like...

they are antiques and old news out there?

I have been using my DG834G V3 for years now, had the DG834GT too.

I have been waiting for a long time to upgrade to something with Gigabit Lan and N Spec wireless that was phenomenal, but there doesn't seem to be anything?

For the first time I am considering getting a separate modem and router.

But I am currently very confused about my options

There seems to be no routers with built in ADSL and 1000gb Lan.

    It is very strange.

Once Wireless N is approved (next month) a plethora of new products will soon be out.

At the moment, you would be better with separate modem/router.

They seem too expensive for what they are

If you want gigabit LAN you're really better off just hanging a gigabit switch off one of the ports on your router and running all your PCs through that. Seriously.

I agree with Splash, theres no need for a gigabit router really. Just hang a switch off it and your home network will work through that.
