Broadband renewel coming up...

So my 12 month renewal with Virgin is due v.soon, but I'm thinking of changing ISP or atleast trying to get a better package out of virgin. atm I'm on the L package (10mb) and I do always get the full limit when downloading buttttttt it has a 50 kb/s upload limit which is just stupidly low and beginning to majorly annoy me. Was thinking of going up to the XL (20mb) package which has 100 kb/s? up, but it would be purely for the extra up which seems a waste of money since 10mb down is more than enough.

Anyone had any experience bartering with virgin to get thier upload speed increased? Thinking of ringing tomorrow but pretty sure will get some call center with no idea what I'm asking for.

ive just gone from 10-20mb on virgin. the upload speed did go up but not by much.

it's supposed to be 1mb up isn't it? looks more like 700-750kb, thats not even worth the extra £5 a month. Think I'll have to ring up and see how far I can get.

not sure on that but i cant get a faster upload than 0.72mb/s out of all the speed tests Ive done since upgrading.
