    AOL Broadband compatible Wireless Router

Does anyone know if the Netgear DG834 will work OK with AOL?
It's for my parents, so they can share ADSL on there 2 PC's.

Is there any other router/modem/Access Point - I should be looking at?

if you use a router it doesn't matter about the single connection thing, NAT gets aound it anyway.

AOL have started to support connection sharing on their ADSL accounts. AOL Keyword: Home Networking.

I dont think it matters which modem/router you use as they all essentially work the same.

Personally I don't see what people have against AOL, apart from the annoying junk mail through the post. They offer unmetered dialup without the annoying 2hr cutoffs, whilst they may not b the cheapest I think it is worth the extra couple of quid for that.
Admittedly their software isn't the best but you dont have to use it for browsing....
And they where offering an upgrade to 512K ADSL for £19.99 a month with free modem etc.

For starters, many ISPs will block emails that come from an AOL address.
Bored of the old one, new one coming soon

Just because you use them for an ISP doesn't mean you have to use their email

    Yeah, I know that.

I used AOL years ago as my dial-up ISP and they were terrible.
