Unhappy Trouble connecting to Internet through mobile

    Hi People,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I've created an internet connection through my Motorola A835 phone (on the 3 network), and can connect (I get the two flashing computers next to the clock on my taskbar), but I cannot seem to get Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, ICQ and MSN Messenger to work on it. I just keep getting "This page cannot be displayed...".

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

what kind of internet connection? you will probably find that you haven't made it out to the web - you'll need to find out if you've been assigned dns as well as IP and gateway settings - IIRC 3 use fixed dns settings on their mobiles, so you may be able to copy those off your phone, and use them on your PC

I've created the dialup so the phone dials up and gets connected (with the two computers on my task bar). Do you know how I copy the dns settings from my phone, and how to get them onto the computer? Many thanks,

    Lee
