I will update the thread once it arrives...it sounds like a solid bit of kit! Ive just ordered a speedy Corsair flash drive to act as the internal HDD (25Mb per second)....so it should be quick AND quiet.

Im still not sure if I need to up the memory in it though.....anyone have any advice on memory requirements for freenas?
