    BaseT conundrum

Right, basically a while ago i lent a guy a 100BaseT Intel Inbusiness 4 port Fast Hub. Soon after he moved house and lost the item (SH100TX4US is its code and This being the only link i can find to it.)

Basically hes trying to blag me off saying that he dont wanna give me even 20 quid for it saying that it was a 10mbps hub and no more.

Can i just make sure that this hub is actually different to any 10/100 hubs and that its maybe worth more?

If so how much wud a replacement to one of these be? it cost me 80 quid a couple years ago and i have no idea of prices nowadays.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers
    Fraggie

    That link doesn't work

    I'd say it's a standard 100Mbit hub though. Seems funny that it's not 10/100

Replacements are quite cheap. But I dunno about £20

You can get a switch for about £20 now, would be faster than a hub too as well.

I paid £39 for an 8 port 10/100 switch 3 years ago, £20 would probably suffice these days..
