    Talk Talk TV boosts

My other half and I are moving into a new flat next month, which sadly isn't cabled for Virgin and we can't get a Sky dish up either so we've been hunting around for the best options

Currently TalkTalk are offering a good price package with about 10Mb/s and a Youview box for a good price but the part thst interests us the most is the offer to get a normal TV package via the internet.

Has anyone out there used it? Any good? Also are TalkTalk's customer service as dire as I remember?

A family member was with them - terrible. Doesn't matter if you sync at 10Mb/s, they don't have the capacity to supply it. Speedtest was all over the place when we tested it.

Same as most services though - area dependant, but they ain't great.

    Re: Talk Talk TV boosts

I would steer clear. The MiL was with them for broadband, didn't provide a service, but wouldn't send anyone to look at it, claiming the problem was with her equipment. Her equipment was the router they provided. I took a spare router, that didn't work either. Helpdesk were not interested in what test I'd done, just went through a script. She had to stop the DD to get them to do anything with it, and ended up going to Sky, but it took a letter from my wife to the chairman of TT to get it done, and get a refund.
