    vpn router recommendations?

    hi,

I have been asked to set up a vpn network at my work and I need some recommendations on whats a good wireless vpn router to support 5 internal machines connected through an 8 port switch with a server as well and for it to allow 2 remote people to connect from home sometimes. I'm looking for something that is reliable and stable with good security as its for a small business. I have looked at a few like the cisco rv120w, rv180v, and the rv110w but when i look at the reviews they don't seem very reliable. This will also be my first vpn network, but i have set up plenty of routers and port forwarding to linux servers i have set up for fun in the past.

What is a good vpn router to go for at a reasonable price but not to pricey?

    thanks

    Jonathan

A few months back I built my own router based around a Jetway board with an Atom D525 (Can't remember the board, but it has 4 Gb NICs, wireless N) using pfSense. Have used Draytek kit in the past which is great, but this little box is corking - depending on the VPNs you're looking to use this may be an option (pfSense will happily run IPSec, L2TP, OpenVPN and PPTP)

Draytek Router is ideal for a small business, supports PPTP, IPSec, L2TP, OpenVPN and SSLVpn.

+1 to draytek. Not always the cheapest, but supposed to be rock-solid and well spec'd.

I've also heard good things about pfsense, if you are prepared to do some of the building + that side of things
