Angry Random disconnects while playing games

    Hey guys,

I know there are alot of other thread like this but there are just to many to find one with the exact same problem as mine.
When I start a game my internet will disconnect and reconnect within 5 to 10 seconds. This keeps going on while gaming and there is no pattern in it, its all random. Sometimes I can play for an hour and sometimes I can't even play for 10 minutes. This only happens to me, the others in the house don't have any issues

My internet connection is pretty good so that won't be the problem:
    http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3356454990
    http://www.pingtest.net/result/94364847.png

    My current setup:
    i2500K @ 4.5
    MSI P67A-C43 (b3)
    EVGA GTX 770
    8GB G.Skill 1333 ram
    Asus XONAR STX soundcard
    CAT 6 internet cable

The next things I've tried so far:
    Reinstall Windows 8
    Update drivers (with the reinstall)
Made sure the cap of the internet cable was properly attached

The only things I can think of right now are:
Broken internet cable / cap (maybe I'll look at this today)
    Broken internetcard
    Software related issues

So far I can't figure it out and I'm no expert on systems.
Anyone who has / had the same problem and got any advise / solution to this problem? It is really driving me mad...

could be your cable stretched wire making intermittent contact if it's under carpet or floor boards ? .. can you try it with another ?

It goes through a wall so that might cause a problem. Will test it with another internet cable asap!

What security software do you use? My friend had the same problem, randomly the internet would disconnect for 10+ seconds whilst playing Dayz/Arma II etc. And as soon as he uninstalled Kaspersky the problem went away.

Go to the network adapters properties/settings and turn off "flow control", reboot and retest.

If not flow control, try disabling "task offload".

Hopefully it is just the drivers.

Also check that you don't have any remnants of uninstalled security software still hooked into the System, uninstallers list: http://www.carrona.org/avuninst.html

You should check you network performance settings. To do a network test just go to:
netscan.co and click the button to start the tests.
