How to cancel new EE broadband sign up

Hi signed up yesterday online without my MAC and now have second thoughts, so how would I cancel do I need to inform them or just hold the MAC back

Contact them by phone ASAP.

You may need to follow that up with hard copy. Depends on the length of contract and the T&Cs. If it is on a monthly rolling contract you might be liable for the first month. If longer, you may be able to cancel under the distance selling regulations But you will need to confirm that in writing, and you may still be liable for any use you have made of the service.

Personally I'd send a cancellation letter through recorded delivery and then follow up with a phone call to see if they've received it.
